I was born and raised in Lawrence, Ks. Went to KU and then followed my Engineering wife to Tennessee and West Virginia. Had 2 children. Moved around some on IT consulting (Ohio,Virginia, North Carolina etc) and finally back to Lawrence.
I am a semi-retired (yes, I drove a BIG truck).
My hobbies include "most anything about computers" including computer modeling to help do research on Cancer, Zika virus and similar medical topics. Since my wife died of Cancer, I am definitely interested in killing that sucker. I don't write "computer models" I participate in a distributed computing network called BOINC which lets me offer my computer(s) to do processing when I am not using them.
I occasionally get out my 12 string guitar and play a little folk music. I sing regularly in my church choir.
I have just been re-hired at a call center so my weekends, after training, will be Wed/Thursday till March 2018. I am available for daytime dates, however.
I like to travel. I like going to school.
