I am here seeking a serious and hopefully long-term relationship.
Not in the slightest bit interested in one night stands or bed hoppers; nor am I seeking or wanting, liars; gold-diggers; scammers; players or fake people. And please, not wanting contacts from ladies young enough to be my daughter or granddaughter.
I absolutely hate lies and deceitfulness . . . and so, honesty; openness and trust on a mutual basis, are all of great. importance to me, and are really all that i ask for as a foundation of any potential long-term and happy relationship.
I am something of an old romantic, and besides enjoying a kiss and a cuddle, i like to treat a lady as a lady, and hopefully. make her feel a bit special. Given the right lady, i can be very loving . . . yes, i still enjoy walking hand in hand or holding the door open etc.
I am a long-retired 70 year old; 6'-0" tall, and a bit on the heavy set side, so if you are seeking a slim and slender sort of bloke, then sorry, i'm not him. The beard has been known to have been removed from time to time. I'm a widower of several years now, having had a 40+ years (not always too happy) marriage.
Have no real hang ups, and consider myself articulate and reasonably. intelligent; have an easy going nature easy to get along with. My only real weakness, if i dare to say this, is a lady in suspenders and stockings (see, i'm revealing my secrets already and we've not even met! ). I HATE football, but LOVE rugby. . . though sadly, far too old to play anymore . I love animals, especially cats and dogs (have some of my own). I don't smoke and rarely drink.
Not a forceful man, and i make no demands on a lady; i want her to feel safe with me at all times, as well as being happy and content in my company. Been told i have a quirky sense of humour, sometimes even a bit wicked . . . but NOT evil ! . . . . i'm totally harmless i promise. Strictly a case of 'what you see is what you get'; put simply, i am who i am, can be a bit too rough around the edges at times for some peoples liking perhaps; but that's the real me, and i put on airs and graces for no one. It would be nice to evolve a relationship at it's own pace, and let things unfold as we get to know each other.
I have many hobbies, too many to mention here, but a few include: reading; clay pigeon shooting; photography; exploring places in the UK; motorcycles; restoring old motorcycles; my former trade, woodworking.
Seeking a lady of similar or near age to myself . . . just a nice looking lady with a warm and loving heart, and a personality to match . . . . and oh yes, if you have nice legs too; well, that's even better (well, i warned you about my humour).
