I am keen on keeping fit and healthy. I like to look after myself and swim regularly to keep physically fit. I also enjoy practising yoga and use meditation to support my mental health. I am mainly vegetarian but do eat fish from time to time.
I have a wide range of interests and very much enjoy being out in the natural world whether that be walking, birdwatching (Im not a twitcher), gardening or volunteering in my village. I also enjoy classic car racing (watching) and shows, visiting NT properties as well as exploring the seashore, countryside and town history.
My interests are not all outdoors. I love going to the theatre, but I also enjoy staying in with a good film and some delicious food. I also get great pleasure from spending time with my children and grandchildren.
I am always open to new ideas and am keen to learn. Travel appeals to me, and Ive enjoyed touring through France and Southern Ireland in the last few years and relish short breaks in this country at any time of the year. I love seeking out those unusual, off the beaten track treasured places.

I'm 80 years old, living in the Baughurst region.
Ive been widowed for four years and ready to move on. Im a fit, honest, caring person with a good sense of humour and financially secure. Im a member of the National Trust and enjoy visiting historic buildings and visiting galleries and antique shops hoping to find an undiscovered Rembrandt. I enjoy driving and have a sports car for fun, ideal for spontaneous trips to the coast. I like gardening and oil painting particularly of people and animals. <br>I do enjoy good food and try to cook, which is an adventure, eating it is even more of a challenge, no one has died yet, if my dog eats it Ill eat it. I live in a little village in Hampshire and have over an acre of garden. I grow flowers and vegetables and maintain a few gardens in the village. <br>I like most music (not rap) and play the keyboard and guitar although not always appreciated by my neighbours, or my dog! Ive been on a number of cruises and appreciate warmer climates, the beach is fine but I do like to explore different places and cultures. <br>I want to share the fun and laughter again of a lovely lady.
