I'm very much a glass half full person. I enjoy life. I'm probably more content now than I've ever been. I have the cake, the icing would make it more interesting. I'm certainly not looking for marriage or even cohabitation 24/7 -I'd be happy to house share and spend times away- but I am looking for an ongoing relationship based on mutual affection and honesty. I have to confess to enjoying holidays -well, something has to take the place of work,or I might get bored!- which can be anywhere from weekend breaks in England staying in village pubs-as long as I'm not far from water- to river cruises or land based stays in Europe. I'm just as happy eating fish and chips, as eating 5* cuisine. I'm not wild about shopping, preferring village stores to shopping malls in cities. Let me loose in a book shop and I'll be happy for hours as I have a very serious side and love to get stuck into intellectual debates, and conversations about which there probably aren't any answers!!! I have a very quirky sense of humour and sense of the ridiculous -I've yet to meet anyone who'll deny having a sense of humour- but there are certain points that I can become very passionate about, ie I HATE injustice. However, I'm not political in that I'm not affiliated to any particular party. The jury is still out on how I feel about politicians. I'm not looking for any man to validate me as a person and although not mega wealthy, I'm financially independent. Whilst I don't need any man in my life, it would be lovely to have the company of, and share time with a special one.
