Free at last but still trying to break out..also stuck a bit by couple of injuries - healed but slowly .. back in training to rejoin the world..
Took the redundancy package after 44 years then had to turn down offers as required to act as carer. Sad loss, so opted to freelance, working as and when, and mostly if, I wanted. Now limit it to interests and trying to get rid of the non-stop work ethic. Cockney/Scot mix.. equally at home in both. Hate unfairness, Brexit’s damage to future generations tho I considered it seriously before determining it was a dead loss in waiting. Political affiliations are member of ‘ A plague on all their houses’ party. Will crawl across broken glass to a decent music or comedy gig. Leyton Orient and East Fife follower, plus rugby interests, cricket in the sun, a decent pint, decent wine, Champagne hooked, light, simple, tasty meals, many with fish. Oh! And pie, mash and liquor, jellied eels, whelks, cockles (sorry!), red pudding and fritters, Arbroath Smokies and , yes, haggis…
