I've been retired since 2010, widowed since 2015. I'm sociable and enjoy going out to concerts and the theatre. I like opera, ballet and Shakespeare and enjoy satellite broadcasts at my local arts centre. I also like folk music and blues and going to folk festivals, although my days of standing for a gig are long gone. I do voluntary work, which I enjoy and find rewarding. My family is very important to me. <br>I should also say that, being a massive snooker fan, if there are any contests on the telly, I tend to become quite uncommunicative for long periods of time! <br>PS: I have a real problem with smoking (like most reformed smokers) and am unlikely to respond to a smoker.
