In many ways, I feel called to singleness. I am happy in Christ, a happy soul and I don't feel a great need for anyone to 'complete me' - In the world's eyes, singleness is often seen as a temporary state or 'something to be fixed' - but it is not seen like this in God's eyes - both states are blessed - single and married. I'm not had a lot of blessings with dating sites. I am quite sold out for God and I find many Christians aren't or say they are etc - lots of different standards too. It's always His will over mine and I won't compromise if someone tries to turn me from that for their own interests. With that in mind, please do not contact me if you are divorced (aside from 'biblical divorce'). There are many different attitudes on this and it's not for me to judge, but as a single, never married woman, it is up to me to listen and take heed of Matthew 5:32 and not deliberately sin. If God calls me to be single for the rest of my life I would enjoy what I already have. I hold it all up to Him - I use this site to ensure I am following what He wants and am open to it either way, rather than just selfishly assuming and not trying!
My faith is very important to me. I'm easygoing, love plants and animals, I'm a vegetarian (but don't ask that of anyone else) but I love cooking and I'm a reasonable cook. I have an allotment, like being outdoors and walking my rescue greyhound. I love dogs and may or may not get another after my greyhound's adopted brother ( also a greyhound - biblical dog lol) passed on naturally of old age a few years back. I love writing - am writing a book of about 55k words in. On a day-to-day basis, teaching takes up most of my time.
