I'm a 39yo widow with 3 awesome kids. I've lived quite an emotional roller coaster lately, so am connecting back with myself, and it might be nice to find someone to connect with along the way. I enjoy deep conversations about any topic. I especially enjoy analysing what makes us all tick, as well as working on improving myself and gaining wisdom in order to get the most out of life.
I'm a vegan due to a few reasons. I have food intolerances, I love animals, I want to be healthier, and help the environment. The smartest of my friends are vegan and have shared extremely logical reasons why it is the way to be.
I am also a Radical Feminist. The radical part is not scary, it's just part of the name of this type of feminism (yes there's more than one type!). We are anti-pornography and anti-patriarchy and anti-gender stereotypes. We believe everyone is a human being and should be treated that way and allowed to be that way. (Two biological sexes but no stereotypes within this). Pornography treats women as objects, is often violent, wrecks relationships, and increases sex trafficking. It isn't harmless. Our beliefs also actually help men - we are against the "toxic masculinity" attitude (where men are encouraged to bottle up their emotions, not cry, be "tough", and be fixated on "strong vs weak" where they create a hatred towards all things "feminine" (gender stereotype at play!) including those aspects of themselves.
So that's some of the deep stuff! Lol
Otherwise, I love to have fun and to laugh and to make others laugh. I have a dry sense of humour and enjoy word play. I can also be a big kid and love things like theme parks, etc. I enjoy food, swimming, the beach, watching netflix series on the couch (thrillers, horror, supernatural, documentaries etc), reading (thrillers, crime etc), listening to music (placebo, muse, rammstein, disturbed, pearl jam, james blunt, simon garfunkel, cat stevens, and heaps more!), going to concerts, and learning new things. I also of course love my kids, and they take up the bulk of my time, so I've not had many chances to do the things I just said I enjoy doing lol
I'm also a Christian.
My physique isn't what it used to be due to a lot of reasons but I'm working on it. I don't want to attract someone purely due to how I look though, so I think that works well.
I've lived an interesting life so far and will be happy to chat about it with the right person.
It will be a rare gem out there who will be interested in me after reading all of that, but I hope it happens one day.
