Can you remember how you survived before you had a cellphone? A computer? A tablet? I often think about things like this during latte induced bursts of intellectualism. I remember using payphones, lugging around books, typing things out on a typewriter, playing games on an Atari or board games around the table with my family. Things seemed somehow more laid-back and slower than today's manic world of Smart everything. I'll never know why I should care if my refrigerator has WiFi and can send Tweets. Why does it need to Tweet? Is it gonna tell me when my eggs have reached their ample temperature? I'd much rather have my washer & dryer do that. I constantly forget to check either of them. Call me old-fashioned, but I like refrigerator magnets and one should never have to justify refrigerator magnets nor fake mustaches, because fake mustaches which are actually lockpicks are the greatest thing ever. Harley Quinn taught me that. Fact: I don't jive well with people lacking a sense of humour or pessimists--sorry. I'm really good at:

burning toast
stealing blankets
