I'm rather fond of the part of the profile where I get to sing my own praises; as if you couldn't tell how awesome I am from the pretentious book in my picture or my wonderful hair. I am a nice person. I'm not argumentative in a bad way meaning when talking I will sometimes push people on some points to try and get a better understanding of where the other person is coming from. Ah the joys of studying philosophy. I don't care when this is done to me. I try to live my life by a simple principle, do not use other people as a means to an end. This is a fancy way of saying I don't use people. I'm deliberate when making decisions. I'm generally easy to get along with although I am a bit shy until you get to know me. I'm sarcastic and it is very hard to offend me. I'm not a dominant guy. I like to decide with the other person where to go, what to do. I don't like to make decisions about things like that until I get to know a person better. I have plenty of suggestions about things to do and places to go but so does the other person. I'm currently a bit overweight but I'm trying to lose some weight. I am a full-time philosophy student at UCCS. I truly love my degree and have fun pursuing it. Being a stuffy philosophy major is only part of who I am, I also, obviously, love to have fun. I love reading, movies, video games, music, hiking and camping, and mini golf. I read anything from, philosophy and classic literature, to books about religion. Some of my favorite authors are Simone DeBeauvoir, Peter Rollins, Dostoyevsky, Douglas Adams, Nietzsche and many others. My favorite style of music is metal although I listen to many different genres. My favorite band is Nightwish. I love most genres of movies except horror. I tend to like action RPGs the best. The Mass Effect trilogy are my favorite games. By no means is any of this a complete picture of who I am or who I am looking for, I am more than happy to answer questions about myself, so just ask.
