I am a hairdresser and have been for some years now, I love my job based in the Holme Valley. I love living in the countryside rather than busy cities, i find it peaceful and love having the surrounding nature on my doorstep.

I have been married twice, 16 years with my first wife and 44 years with my second wife. I am lucky but sad to have outlived both of them. I have three children, a son and two daughters and two grandchildren. I have two stepsons and two step grandchildren.
I am active and pretty healthy. I did the zip wire in Snowdonia recently, play tennis, bridge, walk daily and am skiing again now that Covid restrictions are relaxed somewhat. I play the piano and sing in two local choirs as 2nd bass. Im a competent DIY person and can fix most things.
