It would be nice to have company - someone who would enjoy travel, shopping, going to the theatre or cinema, and of course trying out local eateries. There's nothing like a good meal in good company and then going for a walk with that special someone at sunrise or sunset! But it's give and take too, and I won't complain when you take me along shopping or while I sit in the waiting room while you get your nails done. I understand that being together is the most important part of a relationship no matter what we are doing (besides communication, of course).
I'd like to think I'm a simple-no baggage person. I have a great job, but I miss not having someone waiting at home for me that I really want to see and find out about their day so I tend to work longer hours.
I'm now looking for a relationship, but I'm not looking to jump into anything without getting to know someone first. Hi. I have 3 grown up children and two gorgeous granddaughters. I was married for 21 years unfortunately not happily. I spent the next 10 years bringing my children up on my own until I met my second husband. We were married for 4 years happy years until April of 2015 when after a short 7 week illness, of which we had no prior knowledge, cancer took him. <br>Being honest, I am not sure if I am ready for this, but there again life, as proven to me, is too short, so no harm in trying. I believe I am honest, caring and genuine and would be looking for the same in someone, along with a good sense of humour and a good conversationalist. <br>I love travel, the more the better, theatre especially musicals, meals in/out and my favourite food is fish, chat in the pub or over coffee. For a brief time I was cabin crew and worked in the aviation industry until the pandemic when the company I worked for had to close their doors, which makes me jealous of those going away now that I don't lol! <br>To those guys who love their motorbikes and dogs - sorry that is a not for me and a clean shaven man is much more attractive and a MUST - no beards.
