I'm a country person although I live in town due to single parent life study and getting my daughter to the end of school. I am studying sociology just now but would like a simple life again and no pressure. I am a single person who has come to enjoy this lifestyle but obviously like many others I miss the closeness and companionship of a partner or at least someone to go out and do things with that are fun and something we can share together.
I love to cook as all men do or so I am told. I was born in the USA and h ave lived here since 1979. I am a NZ citizen which meant I was here for the long haul.
I have traveled around the world and have been lucky to experience many different cultures and sights. I think that this sort of travel tends to give you a better sense of what the world is really like and how really great we have it in NZ.
I spent my career in the wine industry and loved it. It was an exciting time in NZ history. I love music. ALl types and I love to dance and often you may find me dancing in the kitchen to MJ or someone else while I make something. I used to be a professional musician at one time and I have a keyboard that I play frequently.
I love getting out once in a while on the Harley to pop off somewhere for lunch and just cruise along enjoying the smells of the countryside and having some fun

I am a volunteer in this wee town I live in, I do about 40 hours a week so at the moment not too much time for me, still it is rewarding in many other ways.
I do not hang out in pubs and I do not smoke. I am sorry but I really just cannot do smoking.for a number of reasons.
I tend to look at women who seem to not follow the crowd of other women. By this I mean that they do not need to act and look their age, Seems sad to me that so many want to get older than they are so soon, There is so much to do and so much fun to be had that it is just something I wish to look at.
I probably will not respond to someone without a photo. I do not feel it is fair if I can do it why not you, AND I have heard all the reasons people say they do not do it. But the fact is 75 of all women on the site do not put up a photo. Maybe men are the same I am not sure as I do not go there.
I believe trying to make a relationship at this stage of life can be difficult. WIth all the life we have lived and the habits we have formed may make it a wee bit hard at times unless the people are honest and give each other space, time and consideration,
Honestly I do tend to like longer hair on women. I know this is a bone of contention with some women and I am aware that there are some really great hairstyles for shorter hair. But most seem to be a mans cut that does not look feminine to me. sorry we all have those things that we like and dislike. \\
so if you are a fun person and are able to chat and converse with more than a sentence or two i would love to hear from you, People sometimes ,meet someone here and although the connection is not a love one it may turn into a nice friendship,
I have also noticed that over time women have always commented that men prefer women who are much younger than them. But on here I see many women looking for men 10-15 years younger than them, Makes me wonder why they are looking for someone that young.
Anyway to each their own,, I live in a wee town in Otago. I am not set in concrete and can move anywhere. I have no baggage but i do collect some antiques. Again someone who likes wee shops and antiques and fun outings.would suit.
I suppose I should not sat this but it would also be nice to find someone to be intimate with. It is something that should stay with couples for a life time. It brigs them closer together.
