I have a broad range of interests which is reflected in my education and work, ranging from science to the performing arts. I'm currently interested in writing: fiction, essays, humour. I love learning - I have a few degrees; I'm a voracious reader and I'm trying to figure out how I can fit in some more formal education, this time in Australian history, or maybe economics, or sociology or ....
Music is important to me, classical mainly, but also jazz, rhythm and blues and Irish traditional music. I play the piano (but do not impose my inadequacies on anyone else). Swimming is a favourite, especially in Sydney's rock pools, and walking in the bush.
The environment is a passionate concern; also social justice generally. But, my ambition outstrips my capacity, so I limit my direct involvement to selected environmental issues.
I am very much looking forward to meeting someone I can share interests with and maybe, in time, develop a committed relationship with.
